Various tourism potential of the Simeulue island owned the main attraction for tourists

Various tourism potential of the Simeulue island owned the main attraction for tourists. But it was not enough to invite more tourists. Various plans undertaken by local government to promote tourism Simeulue Island Simeulue Island. As always happens in remote areas in Indonesia, many plans will always be constrained by various factors, especially factors of attention from the provincial government and a minimal central government towards disadvantaged areas. In the absence of great attention from the provincial and central government of course the necessary funds to build an area to be blocked even none at all.

With the current system of regional autonomy was implemented in Indonesia into an opportunity in lagging regions including Simeulue Island to explore the potential itself in producing original income to be used to build the region.

Theoretically, local autonomy to raise the dignity of the area, but in reality, not all areas to be developed thanks to regional autonomy. Various underlying causes ketidakmajuan areas include working mentality of both the executive and legislative officials who often do not side with the people.

If seeing the development of political situation, economic, social and cultural Simeulue Island today, Regional Government Business Simeulue Island to develop tourism into a retrorika. Hence the need for awareness of the various parties, both government and society. Both the central and regional governments to seriously develop the tourism industry on the Simeulue island in order to produce a high source revenue, which means also to prosper the people of Simeulue Island.

Simeulue Island tourism potential

The tsunami that hit Aceh a year ago a lot to bring wisdom to the people of Aceh, including the people of Simeulue. One of the lessons that happens is terkenalnnya Simeulue district as one of the areas affected by the tsunami waves but does not cause massive casualties. The world felt admiration for Simeulue community efforts in avoiding a huge loss of life as it happens in other areas affected by the tsunami waves. From a variety of reports both television and newspaper or even the internet is known that the success of Simeulue community large enough to avoid casualties due to tsunami waves occur because the people of Simeulue still retain the customs and abide by the advice of parents. They still adhere to the advice of parents who advocate for maintaining the mangrove forest, mountain or run to high ground in case of major earthquake followed by reflux of sea water.

Simeulue famous in the eyes of the world community into a huge potential in developing tourism industry in addition to other potential. With the familiar Simeulue, in promoting tourism in the outside world will become easier.

Before the tsunami disaster in 2004, Simeulue district has a wealth of nature that have the potential to be developed as an industrial area of tourism as the main regional tourist destinations in Indonesia such as Bali island. According to Nyoman S. Pendit [1] Indonesia's tourism potential lies in the community (People) earth archipelago (land), equatorial oceans (tropical Seas), and arts and culture (art and culture) which are: cultural heritage (cultural heritage), customs ) (Ways of life), beautiful nature (lands of beauty), the warm ocean water (tropical warmth of sea water), agriculture (agriculture), plantations (plantation), the life of village communities (community life in Villages), historical relics, monuments , temples, mosques, etc. (archaelogy), caves (Caves), wilderness (jungles), water sports (water sports), rites and ceremonies (Programmes and ceremony) and others.

If we have relied on the opinions above, it can be said that the Simeulue can be said to be very potential to be developed as a tourism destination. This can be seen from what is owned by the Simeulue and the people who inhabit the island.

As an archipelago area, Simeulue has many beaches and underwater scenery with a variety of marine life is very beautiful. The high waves become attractive to the peselencar challenge to defeated him. It is also delicious lobster which is a leading farming community of Simeulue provide attraction for the tourists to enjoy.

As the islands, Simeulue had as many as 15 inhabited islands and 27 uninhabited islands. To the 27 islands that are uninhabited is very feasible to be used as tourist resorts. In Simeulue island itself there are various kinds of tourism objects that can be developed. Mangkudo Tomb Stone in the West Teupah, Tengku tomb in Simeulue Down the Middle, mausoleum T Silaborit in Simeulue Tengah, Dutch Fort in Teupah Teupah South and West, Tabusalihon Mosque in West Teupah. Sibigo Bay that has wrecked the beautiful coral, beach-Alus Alus and Looks Island surrounded by white sand and very attractive for water sports. Busung Beach.

In addition to the natural potential, which custom still held firm Simeulue community is also a potential for the development of tourism industry in Simeulue. Arts such as whistle, martial arts, dance nod, Dance Andalas, nandong very interesting and could potentially serve as a cultural attraction. Buae (euthanize children) Nanga-Nanga which is the local custom.

Simeulue Island TOURISM

World tourism attractive, many governments around the world to develop. As a source of foreign exchange, tourism holds the potential is very large. According to some experts these days has become a tourism business or third largest industry after oil and arms trade. Even some who say that tourism is the second largest business after oil.

As the introducer of foreign exchange, the tourism industry is quite mengiurkan for the State of destination. Apart from foreign tourists spent during the visit, the destination country or region other economic benefit, such as tax revenue from business sectors related to tourism such as hotels, restaurants, entertainment etc..

Aside from being a feeder exchange, the tourism industry could also become the motor of society's economic pengerak. As an illustration, in the tourism industry needs bebeberapa needs to attract tourists to come to an area such as a hotel or inn. To meet the food needs of our guests or lodging, managers need good quality food and fresh. To meet these needs they are looking for food ingredients such as vegetables and fruits in the area around the location of the hotel or lodging in order to get fresh material. This needs to be opportunities for local communities to develop agro-industry, with attention to quality and quantity. Another example is, every tourist who visits a country or region would need a souvenir from your country or region as a sign of memories that can be told tourists to friends, family, colleagues. The need is certainly encouraging people in the country or tourist destination to work and produce the desired tourist souvenirs. Thus in kahirnya encourage growth of small industries in the community.

Of the several examples above, the development of the tourism industry is also a driving force for the absorption of labor in several sectors, both the tourism sector itself amupun sectors that support tourism. Thus it is clear that tourism development has a positive impact on the economy or society in the country of the destination. With the development of tourism in a country or region will lead to expansion of economic resources for the community in the country or of the destination.

Tourism is a complex phenomenon involving the whole human man and has various aspects. Of the various aspects of the existing, aspects that received the greatest attention is the economic aspect, it develops a concept of tourism industry which is a tourism activity completely. As an industry, tourism removing the product to be purchased by the buyer, ie tourists. There are various products offered by the tourism industry which can be grouped into 3 areas, namely; area attractions, tour transportation, and tourism services. Field attraction is something that is expected from the motif wisatwan visit to the country or regional tourist destination. So a wisatwan will travel to a region or country of destination to see the tourist attractions in the area or country. Thus if a country or region has the intention to develop tourism in the region must consider the availability of tourist attractions that can attract wisatwan to visit the area. Tourist attraction in this case can be either natural scenery, cultural diversity, heritage, community life and so forth. Tourism services sector is tourism products to meet the needs of tourists during the tours in the country or regional tourist destination. Tourist services in question are the hotels, inns, restaurants, entertainment, pramuwisita, and others. Product tourism industry is no less important than the other product is a tourist transport. This product is intended to serve tourists from origin to destination or from the hotel to tourist attractions.

Growing or not a country or region into a bustling tourist destination visited by tourists rely on third-tourism products produced by state or region. The better and competitive products, more and more tourists visiting the country or region. Instead the worse the resulting product is also less tourists visiting the country or region.

Report trip to the island of Si Maloer (Simeulue Island)

REPORT trip to the island of Si Maloer (Simeulue Island), who performed with Steam Ship Date SMBenkoelen from February 22 until March 25, 1881
BY: K.T.H. Van Langen, INDIAN GOVERNMENT DEPUTY ASSISTANT VICE NETHERLANDS

Civilization and the education they (residents of the island of Simeulue) was far below the nation of Aceh; plus their nature are gentle and docile cause, that they always lied to and deceived by the Acehnese and Malay traders are dodgy.

In general, their religion is Islam, but they rarely do Juma'at worship or religious ceremony, which was regretted by Aceh's religious leaders and the Malays, who sometimes visit the island. They admit that not much can be done with these islands, because usually they get the answer: You embraced Islam with you and our way our way.

All land that is not done is considered to be state property (in the past on the Sultan of Aceh). Forest land can be cultivated without the required permit from the village head, and anything from the forest. Cultivated land becomes the property of the work. By the time he died the land was divided equally between his children.

Islamic marriage performed. As gold mate, djinamoe, given 15 kabong (1) fabric and $ 5, and a $ 1 for the wife after the wedding night. At marriage the wife brought a female buffalo, one goat, rice at 2 nalie (2), rice seeds, se 'goendja' rice, one room in his parents' house, some chickens, a dozen plates and cups with doelang copper. If the wife dies, then all this stuff must be returned to the family, although there are children.

They are entitled to bring his wife to anywhere on this island, but are not authorized to leave. However, the children belong to her husband.

The women here are distinguished by their fertility, and it is not something special, that they gave birth to 10 or 12 children.

After the birth of first child then the father and mother provided her son with an additional name: the father or mother.
